It's been a frustrating few weeks for me.
I was seen for the second series of “Threesome” and a fantastic new commercial for Hovis.
I heard nothing from the TV series but was penciled (shortlisted) for Hovis, I had a recall which didn't go very well as I didn't gel with the director, I pretty much knew when I left the offices that it wasn't going to work out for me.
I would have loved to do it, apart from the money, which was fabulous, the script was fantastic, and so whichever actor got the part, congratulations, I bet it was great fun.
Keep an eye out for it, it's about a farmer and his son (that's all I can say because of legal implications) and a day in their lives, I can't wait to see it myself but I guess I will be watching it, wishing it had been me.
A number of people have emailed regarding the recent project I did for tax aid as the presenter. I have given you the link below, please feel free to copy and paste it into your browser and have a look. Each story is different and may help you with any tax worries if you're self employed.
Let me know what you think.
I have finished my teaching course assessments and even managed to hold it together for my planned teaching session (which was hard as I was SO nervous), it's now just about waiting to see if all my work is up to standard and justifies a level 4 pass, we will see. Thanks to my tutor Richard Kelly for all his hard work in getting me to where I needed to be, now all I need Richard is a job!
I'm off on my holidays very shortly. I am desperate for a break, the old body needs some sunshine on its bones. I'm not getting any younger and it's been a while since I've been able to get away because of teaching commitments, family commitments, professional commitments et al, I can't wait to relax and kick back with friends and family – that's what holidays are all about aren't they?
Got to go now, May is always a mad month as it's full of birthday celebrations (including mine), I'd better order that new liver ……
