I hope that 2012 has started off well for you both personally and professionally.
The last couple of months of 2011 were not great for me for a whole host of reasons, so I truly hope that 2012 will bring me some real joys, zero lows and a host of personal triumphs.
Speaking of triumphs I have enrolled, been interviewed and started a teacher training course at college in the hope of being able to teach drama to adults, it's a real eye opener and the theory assessments and assignments just keep coming, but it's fun and I think I could be good at it.
I did some corporate work for a company called flying ducks recently and I hope they start to use me on a regular basis. I'm lucky I find the type of work they do both enjoyable and not too taxing. I've recently found out they also do indie films and other stuff – so who knows?
I also need to get in touch with some other people I've worked for over the years, I have slacked a bit in recent months with my networking, and it's these skills that have often gained me work. Get ready for a call soon if you've used my services in the past 24 months!
Away from the profession it's fairly quiet and sedate, which is nice for a change. I can guarantee it won't stay that way for long as winter turns into spring and then summer – I'll keep you posted.
Take care until next time.
